Paleo Meatloaf: A healthy and yummy delight

Paleo Meatloaf is a traditionally made recipe. This meatloaf is filler as it is filled with meat and other food items which make it healthy as well as yummy. It is made with variety of ways and methods, involving different ingredients.

Everyday Paleo Meat loaf:

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs ground beef
  • egg
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • ½ flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • a teaspoon paprika
  • 1/3 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

For the topping of paleo Meatloaf:

  • A can of tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning

Method:

Take a bowl in which you have to combine all the above mentioned ingredients. Pre-heat the oven at 360 degrees. Place meatloaf mixture on a greased pan. Bake for almost an hour until the paleo meatloaf changes its color. Take it out and top it with the tomato sauce. Serve and enjoy.

Turkey Meatloaf:

The Turkish meatloaf is a healthy version of it in which the beef is replaced by turkey. Turkey has protein and less fat. The other difference is that in turkey meatloaf we use almond flour rather than wheat flour. paleo meatloaf

Ingredients for Meatloaf:

  • 2 pounds minced turkey
  • egg
  • 3 table spoon almond meal
  • 1 table spoon chili flakes
  • ½ tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Sauce:

  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • one pitted date
  • 1 garlic clove
  • salt

Method:

Place all the meatloaf in a big bowl and mix it. Grease a pan with olive oil. Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Later place the meatloaf in the pan and bake for 40 to 60 minutes. As soon as it changes color take it out.

Method to make sauce:

Place the tomato, date and garlic in a blender. Blend it well until it turns smoother. Pour the sauce in a saucepan and boil it. After 8 to 9 minutes add salt and pour it over turkey meatloaf.

Whole30 Meatloaf Recipe:

  2. Cooking time: 1 hour and 10 minutes

Ingredients for whole30 ketchup:

  • 1/3 cup of pitted dates
  • Tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • half tablespoon of paprika
  • ½ tablespoon of onion powder
  • 1/3 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • ¼ chipotle pepper (optional)

For Meatloaf:

  • 2 IBS ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup almond flour
  • 3 tablespoon of whole30 ketchup
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 garlic cloves which should minced
  • 2 Tablespoon of ghee
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • ⅛ Tablespoon black pepper
  • Chopped parsley for garnishing

Preparation of whole30 ketchup:

Blend all the above mentioned ingredients together. Store it in a jar and place it in a refrigerator until you have to use it.

Preparation of whole30 meatloaf:

Sauté onions in ghee until they are soft. Add garlic afterwards, sprinkle tad bit of sea salt and continue to cook. Do this process for 1 minute and then take it off placing it on the side. Preheat the oven on 375 degrees. Combine beef, almond flour, salt, ketchup and onion paste blending it with hands. Try not to overdo it, place the combine mixture in a loaf pan and bake it in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Take out the loaf pan after 20 minutes and pour whole30 ketchup over it, baking it again for 40 minutes. Later slice and serve with ketchup.

Paleo Meatloaf Muffins:

Meatloaf muffins are filler as they are rolled over bread crumbs and oats. They contain more portions in them and the sauce poured on them makes it more tangy and tasty. paleo meatloaf

Ingredients:

  • One tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon of Italian seasoning
  • An egg
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • Sugar free tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 2 IBS ground beef
  • Sea salt
  • Fresh ground pepper

Tomato sauce:

  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Sugar free tomato sauce (1/2)
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon brown mustard

 Method:

Heat olive oil in a sauce pan, sauté onion and garlic into it. Spread it over by Italian seasoning and take it off. The second step is to pre heat oven at 365 degrees. Place the onion garlic paste in a large bowl and add other ingredients, mixing it with hands. Grease a muffin size tin, spooning the meat loaf in it. Take the muffin and bake it for 40 minutes until it reaches 160 degrees. Let the muffin to cool it down, add the glaze as a topping.

Meatloaf with Bacon:

Paleo diet is very famous right now, and paleo with bacon is just fine.

Ingredients:

  • 2 packs of smoked bacon
  • 1 cup of diced onion
  • 2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon crushed garlic
  • 2 tablespoon fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon marjoram
  • cracked black pepper to taste

 Method:

Mix all the above mentioned ingredients by your hand. Place meat in a pan and give it a loaf shape. Bake the meatloaf for 30 minutes until it changes color. Take bacon and overlap it around the loaf baking it again at 360 degrees for an hour. After baking it take the bacon wrapped meatloaf and cook for some more time until its fully cooked. Serve it with any sauce your prefer.

Grain free Meatloaf:

This paleo meatloaf diet which does not have grain in it has awesome benefits when it comes to health. It is not only easy to prepare but also yummy to eat. paleo meatloaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ can of homemade ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon of finely chopped onion
  • ½ Tablespoon chia seeds
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup finely chopped veggies
  • (spinach, carrots, zucchini)

Toppings:

  • ¼ cup of homemade ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon local honey

Method:

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Chop onions and other vegies and sauté it finely. Mix other ingredients and make them in ball shape. Bake it for 30 minutes and top it with homemade ketchup and honey. Bake until its cooked properly.

Nom-Nom Paleo Meatloaf:

This recipe includes spinach; it can be served to 4-5 people.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound spinach
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • or coconut oil
  • yellow onion
  • half pound mushrooms
  • ¼ cup coconut cream
  • or coconut milk
  • celery
  • ½ cup Italian parsley leaves
  • 1 pound pork
  • Or beef
  • coconut flour
  • Garlic clove
  • Salt
  • black pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • 3-5 bacon slices
  • Tomato sauce warmed

Method:

Preheat the oven at first. Take out liquid from spinach. Now sauté onions and mushrooms in butter or coconut oil. Next step is to blend coconut cream, parsley until a puree is formed. Place the pork in a large bowl; add spinach, coconut flour, garlic and salt. Mix it well. Then add eggs, coconut cream puree and onion-mushroom blend in it. Combine all the ingredients with your hands. Transfer the mixture to loaf pan and top it up with bacon. Bake it for 70 minutes. Cut it into slices after its baked. Serve it with ketchup and spinach.

Paleo Meatloaf without Bread crumbs:

It has mellow blends which makes it tastier. The eye-opening fact is that bread crumbs are not used to give a texture to this meatloaf. paleo meatloaf

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1⁄2 cup green pepper
  • 1⁄3 cup chopped celery
  • Minced garlic
  • Salt
  • A teaspoon of cumin powder
  • Ground pepper
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 2 bays of leaves
  • a cup of ketchup
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • few eggs
  • two teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1⁄2 teaspoons of red pepper sauce

Method:

Melt butter in a pan; add onions, green onions, pepper, celery and garlic. Cook them all until they are soft. Now sprinkle salt, cumin powder, bay leaves and cook for some more time. Pour ketchup and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Heat oven before at 350 degrees. Take large bowl and add meat, eggs, Worcestershire, pepper sauce and mix them well. Combine vegetable mixture in meat mixture and blend by hands. Spoon mixture evenly on the pan and place it on a cookie sheet. Bake the loaf for 70 minutes until it reaches 170 degrees. Take it out and place it on serving plates.

Gluten-free Meatloaf:

 This is the simplest form of making a meatloaf. paleo meatloaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/3 cup of grits
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons cocktail sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • Ground beef

 Method:

Take a bowl and add milk, grits, eggs, cocktail sauce, onion powder, ketchup and black pepper in it. Now add ground beef and mix it with a blender or even better, use your hands for this process. Mix them until the mixture takes a consistent form. Now shape it into a loaf, placing it on a loaf pan. Pour ketchup on the meatloaf. For about 1 hour, bake the loaf until the beef changes color from the center. Later serve it.

Meatloaf with Bread Crumbs:

Ingredients:

  • a pound of ground beef
  • egg
  • onion
  • A cup of milk
  • 1 cup dried bread crumbs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 2 table spoon mustard
  • Ketchup

Method:

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix them well. Preheat an oven at 360 degrees. In another bowl mix ketchup, sugar and mustard mixing them. Bake for one hour and serve later.

  • 20 saltine crackers
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup of chopped green bell pepper
  • An egg
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika

  • Dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 teaspoon
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Or barbecue sauce

Method:

Take the above ingredients and place them in a bowl. Blend them well, pack the meat mixture and bake it for an hour. Top it with sauces you like (ketchup or barbecue).
